A choc-o-holics dream come true!
These brownies are so rich and chewy. The espresso gives them an extra depth in flavor and balances out the sweet.
Serve them by themselves or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh raspberries.
Ingredients

1 cup Butter

4 oz Unsweetened bakers chocolate

4 oz Semi-sweet bakers chocolate

1 tsp Instant espresso powder

1 cup Granulated sugar

1 cup Brown Sugar

3 large Eggs
-
2 tsp Vanilla extract

1 ½ cup All purpose flour

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Baking powder
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter
In a medium saucepan, melt butter and bakers chocolate over medium-low heat. Stir to combine and remove from heat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugars, eggs and vanilla. Whisk together until smooth.
To the chocolate mixture, stir in the flour, baking powder and salt. Use a sturdy spoon, as it will be a thick consistency.
Add the chocolate and flour mixture to the sugar and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
Pour evenly into the baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
Recipe Note
If the espresso flavor is too strong for your taste, simply omit that ingredient. You will still have a fabulous brownie!
If you prefer a thicker brownie, use a 9x9 or 8x8 baking dish.
Increase cooking time by 5 minutes, checking with a toothpick before removing from the oven.
